# Manage access requests

> Approve or deny employee requests for access to an AI tool.

Workspace administrators use **Governance → Access Requests** to resolve
employee requests for AI tools.

  <Step title="Open pending requests">
    Open **Access Requests** and select the **Pending** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the request">
    Select a request and inspect the requester, tool, submitted context, and
    current tool-review posture.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Make a decision">
    Select **Approve** or **Deny**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Record the response">
    Add an approval response when useful. A denial requires a reason.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the outcome">
    Review the **Approved** or **Denied** tab, or use **All** to find the
    completed request later.
  </Step>

<Warning>
  Access Requests is administrator-only. Approval records the Oximy governance
  decision; any separate provider provisioning or purchasing step still needs
  to be completed in the system that owns access.
