# Govern discovered tools

> Review a discovered AI tool and record the company's approved posture.

Use **Governance → Tool Review** to turn discovered AI use into an explicit
company decision.

  <Step title="Start with pending review">
    Open the **Pending review** tab, then search for or select a tool.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the evidence">
    Inspect the tool's risk information, certifications, observed users, usage,
    and related access requests.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a posture">
    Select **Approve**, **Flag**, **Warn**, or **Block**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the required context">
    Provide conditions, warning text, or enforcement guidance when the selected
    posture requires it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify the result">
    Confirm the tool appears under the corresponding **Approved**, **Flagged**,
    **Warn**, or **Blocked** tab.
  </Step>

Members can review tool information but cannot make the same workspace-wide
governance changes as administrators.
