# Adoption overview

> Read organization or department-level AI adoption signals and investigate changes over time.

The adoption overview is the starting point for understanding how actively AI is used across the scope available to you. It combines headline metrics with trends, tool mix, use cases, and recent activity.

## Start with the summary

Use the top-level measures to establish the size and direction of adoption before opening a person, department, or tool:

* Active people and the share of the available population using AI
* Captured activity and changes over the selected period
* Tools and models represented in the data
* Use-case distribution and recent activity

  organization-wide results. The interface identifies the scope currently in use.

## Investigate a change

## Interpret adoption carefully

Adoption measures observed activity. It does not, on its own, establish work quality, business impact, or whether every employee had an equal opportunity to use a tool. Consider deployment coverage, connected integrations, department size, and the selected time window alongside the metric.
